 I currently live and go to art school in Manhattan. I considered culinary school (since I have many great choices in the area I live in) but thats going to have to wait. For now, I love cooking for my family, watching the Food Network, reading through recipes, and going out to great restaurants in the city. My love of all things food has come from many things but among them, an amazing trip to Europe. I went on an educational tour of London, Paris, and Rome 2 years ago which gave me the opportunity to try some amazing couldn't-get-more-authentic food..that I will never forget.

Marrakesh Vegetable Curry

A bit too sweet for my tastes... maybe less cinnamon next time. I expected to have a flavor explosion based on all the ingredients but didn't get what I was hoping for... still an enjoyable meal and will probably try to make again with some changes to the spices

Chocolate Mint Mayonnaise Cake

Cannot believe I forgot to rate this. I have made this more than once and LOVE IT. I get nothing but rave reviews on it, people always tell me that it looks like it came from a bakery. I add chocolate mints to the frosting while I am baking to give it that extra mint kick and then sprinkle with jimmies (chocolate sprinkles for those not from mass!!) to make it look nice... what a cake!!!

Cucumber Punch

Yum. I used fresh lemonade instead of sugar-free mix, adjusted the water a bit and used baby cucumbers. Really different, pretty, refreshing, and simple. Thanks for the recipe!
