From the Civil War, through the Civil Rights movement, to its current unofficial title of "Capital of the New South," Atlanta has grown into one of the largest and most influential cities in the United States. The culinary traditions of Atlanta are greatly informed by its location in the heart of the American southeast, as well as its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and its status as a destination for people relocating from Louisiana. Locals and visitors to Atlanta will have their choice of great barbeque, soul food, seafood, Cajun food, and Creole cuisine. Perhaps Atlanta's most notable contribution to the world of food and beverage came in 1886 when Dr. John S. Pemberton invented what has become the world's most popular soft drink, Coca-Cola.

this was a great recipe. the only thing i did wrong was put regular sugar in instead of confectioner sugar. oh well the next time will be the correct way.

Baklava

I made this recipe a few year back and it was a hit with my family. Around Thanksgiving and Christmas I don't go to the store to buy baklava and now its a family tradition.
